Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will begin a working tour of the Ashanti Region on Monday, September 29, with a series of engagements focused on market traders and traditional leaders.
Her itinerary includes visits to the Mamponteng, Suame, and Krofuom markets, where she will interact directly with traders to hear their concerns and expectations. The trip is part of government’s broader push to strengthen dialogue with the informal sector and ensure that small-scale traders and market women are fully represented in the national development agenda.
The Vice President will also call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace.
