Minister of State Designate for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has called on government officials to remain humble and accountable to the citizens they serve.
He said the people of Ghana can best be described as their employers, hence the need to show them utmost respect.
“Public service is not a privilege but a responsibility. We are not above criticism. The people of Ghana are our bosses, and we must always remember that,” Kwakye Ofosu stated.
Drawing on his personal journey, he highlighted the importance of humility in leadership.
“When I campaigned, I was asking Ghanaians to trust me to serve them. That responsibility does not end after elections. It is a lifelong commitment,” he remarked.
His message is a reflection of the broader need for leaders to prioritize service over self-interest, remaining open to constructive feedback while staying grounded in their duties.
